1. Nice replacement for the cardboard insert

   Our cat loved the angled scratching pad with the cardboard insert, but he had worn it out in the center. We opted to get the sisal replacement pad because the cardboard pad resulted in small fragments of cardboard scattered about the area. Our cat seemed to use the cardboard insert more than the new sisal, but now the area around it isn’t littered with bit of cardboard. We do have three other scratching posts which he uses as well.

   We have used the sisal inserts (without the Purrfect Angle scratcher) for several years. We just have them on the floor and the cats are drawn to them. No more scratching the furniture. We have 2 cats and have 5 pads around in the house.

   I have one cat but two Purrfect Anglers! I have one very spoiled kitty and two of your Anglers. Even though he is getting older, he will run from one end of the condo to the other to scratch on both sometimes. I wanted to make sure there they were within eye zone for him so I got two. He loves thenmand uses then often...so much so that I finally replaced the sisal pads for both after three years. I probably could have gone longer but they look so nice, I wanted the sisal to stay fresh looking..

4. Great Product, But The Cats Are Not Sold Yet

   I am a true believer in buying the best scratching posts and cat trees for my cats, and my investments have paid off. I have scratching posts and cat trees that are 20 years plus and have lived through the toughest of cats! The posts were finally showing wear, so I invested in a Mondo and a regular post, then the angle scratcher for New Kitty, who was brought up on the flat cardboard scratchers. Unfortunately, New Kitty is not showing intertest in the angle scratcher no matter what I do! I know the tricks, and she's not falling for a single one (darn cat is not just stubborn but intelligent as well). I suppose it's good we did not get our wood floors put in yet (stalled due to pandemic, of course), because otherwise she'd be using my beautiful wool rug (currently rolled up) instead of our ugly carpet. Much better to train her with ugly carpet! I can't allow the cardboard scratchers in the house because I'm a recovering mold victim, and cardboard these days is pretty questionable for people like me. But even the other two cats won't use the angle scratchers, so I don't know what gives. They are quite happy with the new Purrfect Post Scratcher and their Mondo, so maybe that's it. And the Mondo bed is so popular, we will be getting two more as soon as we do get the floors done, so everyone can have one!
