Nice for small spaces and cats that like to scratch carpet.

This is a very nice looking piece that blends well in the house. I didn't want some huge post for a bedroom I have, and this fits the bill.
It is very stable and my cats love it. I have cast that like to scratch the rugs and carpet, as well as the posts, so I wanted to get a flat or angle scratcher.
I had used the cardboard store bought scratchers before and there is absolutely no comparison. They were all flimsy and slid around. This stays put. And the cardboard is much higher quality.
I didn't even need to add catnip to it and my cats all took turns. Well, some were a little pushy about their turn. This is so much better than any other scratcher I have bought.

Almost every single time my cat strolls past the Purrfect Angle, he has to stop and stretch. He arches his back, DEEEEP... and you can tell he loves it, because half the time he rolls over on his side and rubs his cheeks on it.
Sometimes he will climb up on it and scratch it downward-cat style.
I get the impression nothing beats the shredding feeling beneath his claws.
I haven't tried the sisal insert yet, but that's next.
Ooh... a tip! Get extra corrugated cardboard inserts and put one under your bed! Since I did that, my cat doesn't shred the bottom of my bed.
