Great Scratcher!

This is our fourth Purrfect Post cat scratcher. Our kitties absolutely love them. They are very sturdy and attractive. Would highly recommend

I had a different scratching post but my cat never loved it and wouldn't use it daily. Ordered this hoping it would be better. And it was! My cat was immediately interested right when I unboxed it. I guess she liked the smell? She rubbed against it and walked around it immediately. That same day she was scratching it. She also loves to "play" with it - if i wrap yarn around it slowly she will chase the yarn around it. She also can climb to the top of it although the top is too small for her to sit comfortably which is the only downside of this post. Now she uses it multiple times per day. I'm so glad I bought this for my cat.

Very well made, very nice looking, our cat took 5 seconds to begin using it and now our furniture is safe!

My 5-year-old male ginger cat loves this scratching post. I rubbed catnip on the post and base, so he took to it immediately. Its height gives him a good stretch as well as scratch. It is sturdy, so he does not knock it over. It was easy to assemble. I recommend placing it on carpet for added stability. It is a handsome piece. The sisal fabric holds up much better than sisal rope.
